Every Government provider is required to have a complaint procedure. Any member of the public or agency who receives a service from the Office of the Chief Psychiatrist may make a complaint about them.
What is a complaint?
A complaint is “Any expression of dissatisfaction with a product or service offered or provided”.
In order to improve on the service we provide the Chief Psychiatrist welcomes feedback. We need to know what has caused you concern about the way we do business so that we can prevent it happening again.
How do you complain?

The Ombudsman deals with complaints about administrative matters involving State Government Departments and statutory authorities. The Ombudsman will have expected that you would have had attempted o have your complaint resolved by the agencies above prior to approaching her office.
